Company History

In 2002, Photosilk, LLC of Santa Monica, California (later, Photosilk Prints, LLC of Phoenix, Arizona) changed the world of microfiber lens cleaning cloths by creating a "photo imprinted" lens cleaner, which won them a Medal at the Iena 2003 Inventor & New Product Show in Nuremberg, Germany. The finest "split" microfiber is the only fabric we work with and sell to our customers. It is a much more difficult textile to imprint than the non-split 100% polyester microfibers sold for pennies and cents but damaging to lenses and screens and with none of the wonderful properties that make true microfiber ideal to use on the most fragile coated surfaces and always safe.

The challenge in imprinting photographs onto a "split" microfiber fabric is the successful reproduction of the details and the color accuracy. As a result of a year of research and development, our trademarked product was born: Photosilk®

Our Photosilks® packaging presentation is eye-catching, practical and classy. Photosilks® are safe to use on even the most fragile of lenses and screens, require no additional cleaning solutions and are made in the U.S.A.

2014 is our 12 year anniversary, working with the striking photography of Don Paulson, Carol Polich, Shayne McGuire, Christine Humphreys, Angelique Chamballon and Michelle Taja Miller and designs by Mara Lambert and working with our expert dye sublimation printer.
